I even unfollow - or just don't follow - people if their feed is sharing or talking about things I already get enough about from other sources. It's nothing personal, it's just that I like to curate my feed

Update on Mimicking of Known Success - it was good! A nice Sherlockian-style story with an intriguing SF/romance twist. I like this kind of story when it has a strong Watson character, and this one does. I think there’s a second book but not in my library yet
He was a master of, among other things, book titles. “If Death Ever Slept” “Before Midnight” “The League of Frightened Men”
Maybe check out the Netflix series before the book, it’s kind of dark
Stout is my “comfort” read
My two current library reads are The Mimicking of Known Success by Malka Older (just starting, supposed to b good) and The Blessing Way by Tony Hillerman. The latter series is the basis for the Dark Winds show, two seasons of which are on Netflix and are amazing.
Hi John, Anderson’s is a nice place but it’s pretty outside Chicago in Naperville. There’s a lovely place called the Book Cellar in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood if you’re able to squeeze in a second stop. Cheers!
