The funny thing about “Home Alone” is that it’s a movie about guys getting bonked in the head and then John Williams is like, “I have written a score for this, I call it Orchestral Suite of the Abandoned Child.”

One of my favorite scores to be honest.

Home Alone began life as a warning about Tom & Jerry-esque cartoon violence until Tom Hanks signed on to play Kevin McCallister.

I also enjoy his piece for the movie where dinosaurs eat people on the toilet, “Symphony of Awe for the Natural World”

It's about guys getting bonked on the head while a child enacts every suburban fascist's fantasy of kidnapping and torturing random hoodlums
