I'm three eps in, and never having seen the original, thinking it might be worth a try based on what I'm seeing in this version. Then I remember how fatally formulaic everything was back then, and realize that I will probably not stay awake through a single episode.

I can't imagine what seeing the U must be like for people that didn't see the original 70s show. U is its own thing in a lot of ways, but it's also hitting some good 70s plot points.
