it *is* a flame (the single ones on the labels of blade's coat match yunli's hairpin and huaiyan's coat) but the double one seems to also resemble yunli's furnace (and a trident, from oomf's observations) so... what even is going on here anymore
u have to get through the forest of swords first to try
Can we PLEASE get more on artistic symbolism on the Zhuming bc i keep seeing recurring patterns and symbols (that specific flame pattern, stylized lotus blooms) and then we never figure out what they signify in their society. Please. I need more crumbs or I'll go into withdrawal.
What gets me is that the flame shape of the furnace is closer to the mirrored twin flames on Blade's coat than it is to Yunli's ornament, which means it might actually be a callback to Huaiyan's similar flame pattern- and therefore... what? A symbol of his discipleship, perhaps?
Squinting a little harder at this and I'm starting to find an equally vague resemblance to Yunli's furnace... Yep, this is 100% a coincidence, certainly.
Chat am I starting to see sounds and hear sights, or is there a vague resemblance between the two symbols here...?
oops u activated her counter. get burned, idiot /lh
