It sounds exactly like Prairie View. It’s about 90 minutes from Houston, and they built a complex of 8 cricket fields there with hopes of adding a stadium someday. Cheap land! You’d be surprised how far people will drive to play and watch cricket. That place is always booked on the weekends.

We learned how to play wiffle cricket in high school gym class in the '70s. I think it was my last experience with the sport.
