Agreed. Carrying water is not fun. Washing from a pan is not fun. Shitting in a hole is not fun. Having to figure out proper waste and refuse disposal is not fun. Managing illness and childbirth without medicines and facilities is not fun. Postapocalypse anything is just a bad time.

The postapocalypse necessarily lacks CPAP parts, losartan, or metformin. I would develop diabetes, I might die of high blood pressure complications, and also it would be a tossup between "stop breathing in my sleep and die" or "kicked out to live on my own for chainsaw snoring". Doesn't sound fun.
