Milky Dragon by Isabelle Larignon is a repeat tester for me. I'm not sure if that means I need a bottle or my brain is trying to pin down what is going on with it. It seems to swirl and move all over the place on me. Intriguing
One of those days where my brain craves a particular note. Today it's sandalwood, three layers of it. And assault of sandalwood.
Today I have a strange desire to smell an excellent patchouli fragrance. I really only have Chanel - Coromandel or Angel Liqueur de Parfum to choose from that I like. Does anyone have any patchouli friends that aren't too skanky to recommend?
Oh yikes that would be hard. Is it specific notes that triggers them or strength and projection?
MXX so far but I've only tested them on paper. On skin may be a different story :-)
I hope you enjoy them :-)
My bank account was hoping I'd hate everything from Eris Parfum, but unsurprisingly Scorpio Rising and MXX are strong contenders in the bank account draining realm. Bum. Oh and Milky Dragon by Isabelle Larigon is also up there. Poor, sad, little electronic hip pocket.
I mean, it's weird, and I'm definitely in my weird perfume phase.... so that's good
Today I'm wearing Beaufort London - Lignum Vitae. It smells like mouse urine in wood shavings with a bit of lemony cleaning product to start with but I know it's supposed to smell like cooking lemon biscuits. It dries down very nicely but I'm not sure if I can get past the mousey evocations for me
They're all just very ho-hum. Nightclubbing gets a lot of love from perfume journalists and it was a bit ashy to begin with and then settled quickly to boredom city. The others are nicely done with a lot of vanilla/iris but also very restrained. I was expecting more exciting things from the hype
