1) #SewingWithTom#DufflebagRepair#CordedHandle#Sewing#SewingSkeet Now where were we... 🤔 That's right, making patterns. After making the interfacing pattern and the outer pattern (with additional seam allowance) it's time to cut out the layers.
2) I'm this case a 5oz leather outer, 2 interfacing layers of non-woven cambric (to steady and prevent stretching) and a 1 oz leather inner layer. Each of the leather layers will be bonded to the cambric with contact cement, and then the inner and outer assemblies will be glued.
Such careful craftsmanship for that duffel!
