A solution to the education crisis is create comprehensive pay packages for teachers that cover healthcare, housing, retirement, and so on. If teaching is going to be a single job, for life, without promotion or advancement, then we need teaching to be a single job that provides for all your needs.

Education is in crisis worldwide because teaching is a job with very high workload, low pay, and no opportunity for advancement. There's: Teacher -> Head of Department -> Vice/Principal, and literally nothing else. So the people you want to be teachers don't want to be teachers.
The only solution to the housing crisis is for the government to build so much decent, affordable housing that landlords are forced to lower rents in order to attract tenants. This will definitely work because whenever it's suggested landlord organisations lose their goddamn minds.
Fun fact: it was invented by colonialists who destroyed local civilisations and forced the survivors into a subsistence economy that made them easier to exploit. This joke is funny because, from a macro perspective, it is literally the cause of the fetishization and diaspora that lead to that site.
