It strikes me, yet again, that the physical response to “really need to eat a food” is to feel too queasy to eat a food, and that is just the WORST design imaginable.
So many design mistakes. Damned ancestors.
My body has started doing this to me since I developed fibromyalgia and I’m just like BRO WHAT THE FUCK I put up with a lot of bullshit from Brain but now Stomach has got an attitude too????? Unbelievable
"I better eat something to settle my stomach"
It’s like needing to hydrate when sick and also needing to sleep. Some terrible designs.
Our engineers are the worst, tbh. Just look at the cable management!
Oh, I have this too, I think. At least, I am frequently unable to distinguish mild nausea from hunger, especially if I've been sick and both are equally likely.
And then when you think you can manage to eat a food, your brain starts going "No, not that."
OMG I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM
Agreed. And very similar to the equally terrible “too exhausted to sleep”
I get the slightly less ridiculous "know I need to eat a food but no longer have the mental capacity to find/make/decide upon a food"
