Judging a competition like this is no small feat, especially when giving each participant feedback we hope will be uplifting, helpful, & kind. We strongly encourage all who submitted to try again this year, or keep an eye out for our next anthology call!
The 25 winning entries will be published in e-book & physical in February to benefit Scares That Care, an IRS approved, 501(c)(3) charity that has raised and donated over $300,000 to organizations and families with a child affected by illness, burns or women fighting breast cancer.
We had such an amazing time reading all of your entries. Thank you so much for making the job of judging so hard by sending us some truly fantastic writing. While we had to pick a top 25, it was such a tough call for many of the stories and there were many “near winner” stories!
