Starworld! It has ANOTHER font now?! We've been waiting for Rose-Tinted to drop for a while now, this will be our primary font for most dynamic text and YES I THINK IT'S AMAZING YOU CAN'T STOP ME FROM USING IT I DARE YOU TRY AND STOP ME
NOTE TO ARTISTS: If you do not have any publicly available spritework in your portfolio and are unwilling to show any, you will be blocked. We want someone who we KNOW can do spritework, not spend $100+ on things we'll just have to replace.
UPDATE: We are reducing the scope of the first demo. It will only contain the first area.
Steam Deck is the only logical answer, especially if you already have a powerful gaming rig at home

personally I don't think so, not unless they're gigantic "betas" that are honestly just full games in and of themselves, a la Multiversus. Get a few friends to test your game to start, build a community and onboard more testers as development progresses, and release when it's ready :)

i wasn't hit by the layoffs at insomniac/SIE today, but a lot of coworkers were, specifically some friends from our vfx team. i don't really have a gaming network on Bsky like i did on twitter, but if any of y'all devs i do got on here know of any openings, i would love to connect you to these folks
