I have not! But I want to read more so I shall add it my list. I’ve always felt profound sadness about extinctions, especially ones that last a mind-shatteringly long time such as at the end of the Permian period. The suffering is impossible to comprehend.

I mean, many people, including myself, consider our lifetimes to be an extinction event but at least (knock on wood) we don’t have the volcanic activity of some. Small blessings and all that.
