Me: I'm not really into co-op or real-time board games. Game devs: Well, what if we keep making co-op and timed boards games based in your favorite franchises? Me: Dammit, fine.
I really enjoy Midnight Suns, but the 4 DLC's definitely made the roster just a hair too big. The extra 4 characters have made it a lot harder and a lot more grindy to get everybody leveled up and get their decks fully filled out.
I do think folk are being unfairly quick to drag some of the new Civ VII changes that were revealed. BUT... if this new Ages system means that I can't go ham on science and use Giant Death Robots on a rival medieval society, I will riot.
Played my longest session of Elden Ring yet last night (read: only like 3 hours). I ended up sleeping terribly and when I did sleep, I'd have dreams about getting wrecked by bosses repeatedly. Is... it's Elden Ring giving me anxiety?!?
I'm going to approach everything with an open mind because I know I was super unenthused about Lower Decks, and it ended up being one of my favorite Trek shows. But I have to admit... none of the upcoming new Trek projects are really doing it for me at the moment. Hope I'm wrong.
