Beginning of sophomore year at Berklee I was in the Joni Mitchell ensemble. One of the songs we were doing was "Help Me," and about a week into the semester the 9/11 attacks happened. The line "I've seen some high, high places come down to smoke and ash" felt a little poignant right then.
