Thinking this also ties into Amazon’s ‘return to 5 days a week in office’ diktat yesterday. A lot of employees will just not be having that, thank you very much. Those who can will leave. Which means you’ll be losing the employees most mobile (and skilled) Just skim the cream and throw it away. 🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

No matter how progressive they are, "bosses" have a vested interest in the status quo. So they fear the perfect justice of progressive idealism as much and perhaps more than they fear the perfect injustice of authoritarian reaction.
