Will seems to conflate low info and illiterate Low info voters see headlines! They don't read stories on A18. That's the exact reason why the NYT having terrible headlines and clarifying language in graf 22 is so bad!

His entire "argument" in his thread is basically Zeno's paradox: one headline doesn't matter, so the NYT coverage doesn't matter, so media coverage as a whole doesn't matter.

Perhaps replace them with other adverbs that express that they're doing it on purpose.
