It was a terribly sad episode. I had no idea how tragic the final months of his life were. Though I do take issue with your critique of Band of Gypsies. That was, to my ears, the best live Jimi I've ever heard, particularly I Don't Know. So much creativity.

That wasn't my critique, it was Hendrix's own! He was never happy with the album at all, and I just passed that on.
