That was my grandma’s favorite bit of science fictions (and likely my mum’s) if all time. It was the last book my mum ever did for read aloud (we had been taking turns, not just having adults reading for some time) and it was a perfect end to that all.

I just read that book a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I live in and around nyc my whole life, and loved the vivid details of the city in the book, from uws to gramercy park and city hall park.
