Well, I’m sold. My library has it on the shelf, they open again Tuesday and I have books to return. The perfect moment to finally read it.

Just finished Swan Song, Robert McCanmon. Thought provoking.
That was my grandma’s favorite bit of science fictions (and likely my mum’s) if all time. It was the last book my mum ever did for read aloud (we had been taking turns, not just having adults reading for some time) and it was a perfect end to that all.
... I'm cautious enough about doxxing myself that I'm not going to link, but I found a history of the building I've never seen before, and it just deepened my appreciation of the fact that I had the privilege of living in this building full of history for five strange, transitional years.

I just read that book a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I live in and around nyc my whole life, and loved the vivid details of the city in the book, from uws to gramercy park and city hall park.
