Does codetermination help this? Plenty of CEOs have stock and make decisions that are not very long term oriented. I wonder if (don’t have evidence) decreasing tenures in jobs make it really hard for Unions to form a good partnership with the company, because most members will be gone in 5 years

CEOs are gone in 5 years but there's a substantial minority of workers who stay on for decades and have a much stronger interest in the long-term fate of the company than almost anyone else.
