Recently dismantled my 1940s LMS themed OO gauge layout and started again with O gauge. This time set somewhere south of 1980s Dortmund.

Interesting! The best reason for this that I can find is that it was based at the Cardiff shed and ran the London to West Country route. So it was named after a previous GWR express train service.
Fascinating! I had thought that all the Western Britannias were named after GWR engines
