It really nails the feeling of sifting through a box of old game disks, not knowing if you're going to like the next one you try or not. Also the various sequels really feel like old shareware sequels that either go off the rails and diverge, or get way better. That was a nice touch

Agreed! They also nail all the annoying gameplay elements of old games but in a fun/funny way. Only got through about half and love so many of them, amazed by how many bangers there are!
