Bletchley is well worth a trip, the National Computing Museam is on-site but a separate org - both recommended. Portsmouth, along with the rocket testing facilities on the Isle of Wight, and the Tank Museum are still on my to-do list when next near the south coast.
On reflection, Kennedy Space Centre was fantastic, I visited once as a child so a hazy memory - would love to go back.
1. Kirkaldy Testing Works - London UK “Facts not opinions!” 2. National Museum of Computing - Bletchley Park UK - Colossus! 3. Computer History Museum - Mountain View USA 4. Royal Armouries - Leeds UK 5. Science Museam - London UK Quite a tech focussed list, would likely change on any given day.
