We sorely need a new wave of independent, self-sustaining studios run by people who care about balancing art & business, growing from the rubble being left behind in the current path of destruction (akin to A24) - and tighter corporate legislation to correct and prevent some of said damage - & soon.
The fact about everyone who cares even a little about filmmaking - from creators, to production workers, & even audience members - seem to agree that Hollywood is in dire need of a mass reform, perhaps even a hard reset, just makes me more depressed wishing in vain it could just... HAPPEN already.

Capitalism is supposed to encourage innovation. But in Hollywood, studios are creating a narrower range of films to avoid taking any risk at all.
Why's that?
When you are so out-of-touch and lacking of any morals that you endorse the candidate you're against by complete accident.
You'd think by this point it would be crystal-clear to everyone with even so much as a HINT of empathy what is fundamentally at stake.
