I think the mech names are nice as a player when building your character, but I don't really have them come up during sessions as a GM. How do you incorporate them? My players naturally gravitate towards first person pronouns for actions, not "x uses his y to skirmish"... but maybe that's rp taste

Honestly they don’t come up much in sessions for me, but if players are talking about their mechs they will often refer to them by name. And I do usually encourage them to introduce both their pilot And their mech in session 1
