I have had a very uncomfortable feeling around the word "Geek." It has always meant and is still defined in most dictionaries as "a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake" of "fumbling, inability to mix in and awkward."

It hasn't had the first meaning for the better part of a century now, since circuses stopped featuring such acts. As for the second, that describes a lot of us, don't it?
