I feel like the ADHD discourse has fully become “neurotypical people are only capable of a single thought at a time and I wish I could be dumb too” and, I mean, same, but that’s not accurate it’s a great way to convince average people they’re somehow broken and in need of a cure, though

caveat: ADHD is obviously real and I do have a diagnosis from an actual in-person specialist whom I see monthly not trying to accuse anyone of faking
