Well they were born ignorant and have decided not to change themselves - so at least they are walking the walk there.

Am I the only one that remembers how bad the first Trump administration was?

We talk a lot about entitlement among the young. But entitlement is more dangerous among the elderly -insisting they can still drive when they can’t, staying in a home they can’t care for, etc. As the population ages, this worries me more than the 20 year old in IT who wants more time off.

When there is squabbling among people who are mostly aligned on policy - as with many Democrats right now - it’s easier somehow to see how tiresome all the smug opinions are. Maybe people on both sides of the Biden question are smart and caring - and just fear different specific things.

Whenever someone says they lost friends over “politics” - I always wonder if it was really “politics” or if it was “being an asshole about politics… “

If a 20something makes an irresponsible decision - say gets a car or a house they can’t afford - people condemn them - even though it hurts few innocent people. But when old people refuse to give up houses or car they can no longer safely operate or take care of, people excuse it. Baffles me.

I’ve been married for almost 30 years, so I’m not naive about the ups and downs, and the need to accept flaws, and the value of sticking it out. And still, I fairly often see other couples and think “they should just divorce now.” 😂

Also LBJ probably would have lost too. It doesn’t even mean it was the wrong call that time!

Just because Democrats lost after LBJ dropped out doesn’t mean that’s the way it will go down in every scenario going forward, folks. It’s a sample size of one.
