Base sketch of a background with clouds and mountains. It also, has three anthropomorphic characters (A flamingo, red panda and wolf) done by my friend Jason Lopez.
I made some adjustments to the size and placement of the original sketch and added in some trees and mountains. Then I established my value hierarchy.
These are the flats I created for the background based off the value study.
Here is the finished background with all the rendering.
