We don't place any value on nature. If we did, the billionaires would start hoarding it. Ok, I guess that is to some extent what "country estates" are all about. But these aren't about conservation. Take what was shared, privatize it, keep the "oiks" off and watch the asset values clime.

... or more specifically, in this case: a painting of some flowers is worth hundreds of millions of pounds (or 'priceless'); the maintenance of the ability to *grow* those, or any other flowers... In some areas, in terms of insurance payments against flood or drought, you couldn't afford them. Huh
