a slugcat: *walks upright, uses tools, communicates via gestures, engages in bartering with another intelligent species, can tame feral predator lizards* silly ppl: *considers them feral animals anyway*
but yeah, apparently i draw feral porn! this is news to me ʕ • - •ʔ
Feral basically just means non-bipedal/relatively accurate to the source material usually...at least imho.
Not too mention it can understand speech after receiving the mark of communication. Which I always interpreted as just forcing understanding of the language into them. Implying that although they lack a language, they are able to comprehend abstract thoughts and complex communication.
Okay ykw I don't usually step into discussions like these but come the fuck on- If slugcats aren't sapient enough to not count as bestiality then neither are human hunter-gatherers, past or present They literally have sign and written language what
silly silly people
it's like a self report that they never made it past the first few screens in the game haha
"It doesn't look like a person so it's feral!" Smh
silly people indeed
James Primate (the 2nd primary dev) wrote about RW's "faux language": your ability to see "recognizable text" of an unknown culture brings you closer to the "main character" "who is able to sense that there is meaning to the world s/he lives in, but that meaning is unknowable." just a dumb animal!
