If you do happen to read this, sorry for chiming in in the way that it came across, I'll try to be better with thinking about how what I'm saying comes across as, especially with character limits limiting intention+tone
Oof, I'm so bad at social stuff D'oh I wanted to apologize to @arobertswrites.com but replies seem turned off I'd only meant to agree about the feel of a work they were commenting on having read Really sorry, not sure if I'm blocked or anything, but I totally understand if so I'm grimacing over here
Finally pursuing my anti-dysphoria transition objectives(agender/neutral), 40 years into life Had to get to&through some really low points to even realize what would feel better/a way to accomplish it that was right for me I'm pretty okay on my own most days, but other humans reinforce the dysphoria
When people respond to "Eat the rich" with, "Well, but they create jobs" I'm like: "You've drunk the kool-aid, get out of the pool. Leave the rest to us, and we'll still make sure you're taken care of, just don't stand in our way" (I hate the "temporarily disgraced millionaires" bootstrapology BS)
I enjoyed a biography (autobiography? but it wasn't written by JRRT, but said autobiography on the card catalogue... 30 years ago, so hard to recall exact details) more than the LotR trilogy, during that same period of my life, and I don't even really like non-fiction at all
This is why I never finished the Lord of the Rings trilogy as a child when I picked them up I blasted through the Hobbit, saw more works by JRRT, nabbed all 3 at once, began reading them, but they were so militaristic, less focused on adventure/fantasy, more on war experiences in a way less escapism
I sort of feel that, in a way? I penned my outline to be a trilogy of trilogies, that will each be approximately 3 books long, 27 novels in length if the 900 pagers were broken down into individual books Currently closing in on 2 million words, 7k pages, wrapping up Volume 6 of 9 soon'ish
This is one of the most hilarious sequences of words ever, in one of the best Giant In the Playground(Order of the Stick) strips/pages ever Belkar's character growth over the last couple arcs has been wonderful to witness
