id hardly call him a cop 😅 the only thing "by the book" that he does is old fashioned detective work and letting the bad guys get arrested. and like, im on the side of prison abolition too, but also what else is batman gonna do? not like he has much of a choice 🤷🏾‍♀️

he literally lives in a police/judicial blind eye yeah he uses vigilante tactics, but... cops do that shit all the time. and the criminals end up handcuffed to the police station or w/e, like he literally is a servant of the policing status quo
