Just got my 4th article rejection of 2024. The thought of revising and sending all 4 articles back out for review makes me so very tired.

This happened to me in 2015 and I was not able to convert any of them into articles, so I put one as a chapter in my book, and the other two, well, they're memories in my work. But I do hope to dust them off at some point and fix them and send them back. You got this, Jessica.

Two things: 1. you are brilliant and those journals are fools. and 2. I vote for leaning in to your sabbatical and taking some well-deserved time off. And then, after some real rest from it all, you'll return to your manuscripts with restored energy and kick some butt! YOU GOT THIS! But first, rest!
