Mom just passed away in July, and dad's turning 80 in a week or so. He promised her that if she kept up the place, he'd buy it. Now, he can't keep it up, and it's 27 acres of memories of my mom, so I can't blame him for selling. Still, kinda hurts.

Don't get me started on what I was going to do with the 27 acres I grew up on if I hit the lottery. Sadly, no longer an option as my father is selling it. :(
