Combine oil & flour as normal in your Dutch oven & pop in the oven at 350. Whisk every 15min instead of standing at the stove constantly tending roux. Makes it super easy. Enables you to do other things. And you can still nail the spot on the brick/chocolate spectrum that your recipe requires
