So many shots over those ten years and so many new MS meds have popped over those ten years. I feel blessed to have been stable on one of the milder ones.

Ten years of numbness in my toes, balance issues, speech and hearing problems, and of course my constant friend numbness in my right hand, but I’ve been stable.

Now I’m here officially ten years stable. A couple of years ago I asked my neurologist about the possibility of quitting meds someday and she said yes if you stay stable until after menopause when your immune system naturally drops we can talk about it. That feels so much more possible now.

This last year was somehow the easiest and hardest. I’m a generally negative person so it felt like I was waiting all year for my immune system to be like surprise bitches we’re eating spinal cord tonight but it just kept being fine.
