Lol, I don't know anything about anime con dealings either but the con venue access part should at least be cheaper, since you miss like at least half of the events...
I don't know how far it's from you, but confuzzled does day passes. They also do pop up dealer tables for only one day. They seem pretty convoluted though.

Colouring in inkscape kinda sounds like torture. I got used to the krita UI and it's good enough. I don't have any patience to do more than sketches, lineart and paint bucket colouring anyway. Painting digitally is just not good enough and not comparable to real paint imo.
It's related to rooibos but I think it's milder. Less astringent. I never had it with caramel.
I think there is a whole rabbit hole about sideritis species and localities. I had one bundle once that totally smelled like weed. My current one is citrusy though. Honeybush is really nice after you simmer it for a few minutes (I simmer sideritis as well).
