"Some snacks and heat under the night sky." This amazing was done by ๐จ Guaaxi (She's available for comms!): guaaxi.carrd.cofuraffinity.net/view/55547449/
Every time I receive a WIP on Atun art (really any Atun art in general) I get so giddy and start spending 10~ minutes looking at it. Sketch, line art, finished artwork. I wish I could express that emotion in words better when talking to artists. ...I gotta find a better use for "โจ Atun speaks โจ"
This can be applied to furry art, it's just that furry art is so diverse it's nearly impossible to pinpoint a country off of style alone. It usually ends up comparing the artist's price with the art to recognize the country. Kemono art IS diverse. The community is smaller; so it's more noticeable.
I find it fascinating how a kemono artist's art style can reflect their country. Like as if the country took a common base, then modified it to fit its standards to draw. ๐ฏ๐ต, ๐จ๐ณ, & ๐ฐ๐ท kemono art share a similar base, but looks very different when illustrated. This applies to all of Asia and the west.
The internet allows me to express myself more freely. Though it has its cons, I can still be myself. IRL I'm more like a mimic copying what I see. Nobody likes seeing a quiet unexpressive guy, people see it as "concerning". So faking it is. โจ This has been Atun speaks! See you next week! โจ
When I have to be social IRL, I notice I change my mannerisms and personality with people or mix it together when multiple folks are involved. Which led me to learn about masking recently. Very insightful stuff and made to me notice how much it's effecting me mentally. I never be myself IRL.
Glad to see Bluesky fully open to the public. Still going to treat this account the exact same as before. Which is fish memes and random personal posts.
I probably should read some art books on anatomy or something. It's just hard to know where to start. I heard Loomis is pretty good for beginners. Maybe I'll try that when I have the time.
I won't lie, Flipnote Studio is pretty decent for doodling. I find doodling digitally to be much easier than traditional IMO. But this is also coming from someone whose drawing level is..."processing".
