you do not need “connection” for that, depending on your country find an exchange (Kraken, Coinbase, Kucoin, Binance …), sign up, get verified - buy / trade whatever u need (do NOT get stuck in Shitcoins ! memes and shitcoins - find strong projects and be careful investing)
