Very weird. Feel like Terry Pratchet and Douglas Adams are like the two absolute authors you should have in a teens/kids section to get kids into sci fi/fantasy.

In what way are Terry Pratchett books not for kids/teens??? Like, yeah, they’re extremely enjoyable as an adult too, this is true, but they very much are aimed at a younger audience.

The determiner is where did they put The Hobbit, Lord of The Rings and the Silmarillion? That tells you everything you need to know about how they categorise. (I would personally suggest "children", "young adults", and "supreme fan-geeks" respectively).

I can understand terry pratchett books not being in kid area (maybe too difficult reading wise for small kids?) But teen area should be totally okay. Here the library divide the teen more closer to adult section than to little kids section, teens too cool being seen together with the small kids
