I actually have the CD this song's on (Introducing the Hardline), and it's worth a listen. I'd recommend "If You All Get to Heaven,""Let's Go Forward," and "As Yet Untitled." He goes by the name Sananda Maitreya now, though. But I still call him Terence Trent D'Arby.

In a proper world, this should be a reason NOT to vote for Trump. But many in this country are seeing this event as exactly the opposite. Those people are like, "Trump survived an assassination attempt! He risked his own life to save America! Now I'll vote for him harder!"
Had Trump been killed, the situation will probably be FAR, FAR WORSE. Like, it would be the Franz Ferdinand effect that would start Civil War II. Not that America isn't a war zone already. It definitely is. And there's no end in sight. I honestly think we're worse now than we were in 1860.
And with Trump as president, there's no telling how America will be. He has made numerous claims of arresting political rivals and jailing them. He plans on rolling back environmental regulations and LGBTQ+ rights. 50+ years of LGBTQ+ people fighting to be accepted might be all for naught.
Sadly, for the base that literally shouted to hang the vice president in order to overturn an election result, this is only going to serve as ammo to put Biden and the Democrats down even more and guarantee a Trump presidency.
