3/x In 2008, we caught the Phoenix lander on its descent to Mars, the first time one machine took the picture of another machine. You can see the parachute, the lander attached to it and even the faint chute lines. www.uahirise.org/releases/pho...
That was absolutely phenomenal shot and superb planning on the part of the HiRISE team.
