Perk of home ed...swimming pool all to yourself for the swimming lesson and most important for us is the fact that I can stay poolside. This small thing has allowed my unicorn to partake in lessons. #neurodiversity#eduSky#homeEd#homeeducation

Whilst we home educate I do believe it is important to stay aware of changes in mainstream education. What would you say is most needed to result in real change? I believe the curriculum is far too restrictive. It's not there to teach learning, it's there to fact dump. #EduSky#homeEd#school

One of the things I love about Home Ed is the flexibility. September has been a bit of a chaos storm for us, and we've not done half of what we wanted. The thing is, that's OK. There is no behind. There is no failure. We can do it in October, with ghosts and witches added. #EduSky#homeEd

I had to explain what a film camera was the other day. Also what a video was.

If the ability to control emotions and behaviours isn't fully developed until early adulthood, why do we require preschoolers to do this and then punish them when they can't? From 'Beyond Behaviors', Delahooke #Education#Parenting Credit for the slide: @synergeticplayinstitute 😍

The government is currently reviewing the curriculum. How can we use this opportunity to reform the education system? To have a flexible curriculum so all children can access learning in a way that is right for them. Online, in person, school, home. Children are missing education for a reason.
