That's fair, it's not REALLY over. What I mean is "post-" more in the sense of "after the pandemic STARTED and changed the calculus" and less a sense of "the pandemic is over and COVID isn't really a threat anymore" because until it's eradicated like smallpox, it's still a threat.

I've transitioned to "post-shutdown" for these reasons.

I’m just VERY tired and language that incorrectly implies an end to the pandemic or using cutesy terms is not helping. We just left our second or third worst wave depending on region and the world went through it unmasked and uncaring.
