A recent oil painting of mine, The Sagi ©Uriel Dana 2024, Oil on Canvas. In Japanese folklore, white Sagi (Herons) offer unexpected gifts as they symbolize peace, luck, & longevity. Their unexpected appearance in rivers and marshes are tied to spirits, gods, as well as otherworldly beginnings.
