Haven’t posted since I made my account, but I ran into this today and have no idea who to ask— does anyone know anything about this #gegegenokitaro#ゲゲゲの鬼太郎 poster? I ran into it today at a convention, and I can’t find a single image match for it anywhere. It’s definitely got some light wear.

it's definitely an ad for a home video release of the anime, the 2nd image you found was the VHS cover with the arrangement of the characters changed. I can't find a reverse image search of the ad though either

I’ve definitely found a close image— what seems to be a book cover (?) but the placement of the characters is super different. You can’t see Nezumi Otoko or some of the other yokai at all. Reverse image searching and searching in ENG/JP has also been fruitless.
