What a staggering phenomenon
This is crazy
"10 people died...... i can't believe civilians are being targeted...." man tens of thousands of palestinian people and thousands of lebanese people are dead, where the fuck was your energy then? it's so fucking transparent. morally bankrupt ghouls.
Oh hell yeah. I don't know what was going on in the 90s in Britain specifically with this type of music but I'm glad it was
A lot of this didn't make sense, and things happened seemingly without connection to things before and after, but there were moments of real humanity and simple beauty. A lot like life, in a way. Maybe that was the point of the film
There's something so lovely about watching something like this that is made out of a cultural language I know absolutely nothing about. So much was alien in this. How wonderful that the human experience is so unimaginably vast
If you like the collaborative storytelling, play a Powered by the Apocalypse game. If you like the numbers-based fantasy combat, play Pathfinder. I promise you that there is a vast beautiful world out there for you
Play a different game! It's a gross corporate monopoly. It's like someone saying "I love the cinema and the way it can tell stories, convey emotion, etc., and I only watch Marvel movies"
Yep, as suspected the essay is correct! D&D (esp. 5e) is just not a good game. It tries to do too many things, none of them well, and combat especially is just awful. I love TTRPGs; running them is one of my favorite activities, but of the things I love about them, D&D does zero
