I need to add - Universal actually did the coolest thing this year where the Midway of the Bizarre scarezone became the Festival of the Dead parade. The parade floats were the main zone set pieces. Twice a night, they’d close the zone and parade through the park.

Finally throwing some 2004 Bill and Ted photos up.

The opening dance of Bill and Ted. In the foreground, the crowd watches the stage. On stage, a clump of dancers dance in from of a flood, hand-drawn version of the Lincoln memorial. An oval hides the statue’s face.
The finale dance from Bill and Ted. Performers dressed as various characters, including Prince, Hellboy, Usher, and the Beastie Boys, dance reaching into the air. The set behind them is a hand-drawn parody of the Lincoln Memorial. Only, it’s not Lincoln’s face—it’s the bald head of Dr. Evil from Austin Powers, pinky to the side of his lips.
From Bill and Ted, a performer dressed as Hellboy, wearing a brown trench coat, rappels from above the stage. The red spotlighting hides the rest of the stage.
From Bill and Ted 2004. On stage, two men slow dance in the doorway of a stylized government building, their arms wrapped around each other. One has his back to the audience, wearing a black jacket that reads “PREZ” in white letters—George W. Bush. The other, facing the audience, is John Kerry. John Kerry’s right hand hovers just over Bush’s tight ass.
