She didn’t even say it is the sad thing. She said it was a sub-set of the base that were Nazi/KKK. The problem came when the Republicans essentially said “bitch, it’s not some of us, it’s ALL of us” - and rather than be alarmed by that confession, people twisted her words and blamed her.
